Offering incredible versatility, the Hot Wire Foam Factory Crafters Scroll Table is the world's best foam cutting tool for modeling buildings, slicing walls, making columns, custom signs, and much, much more. It is 12"x14" and made of industrial strength ABS plastic. It can be used for cutting accurate straight edges, strips, angles, curves, cylinders, cones, etc. A simple adjustment allows you to make angle cuts. It comes with four (4) long life 8" tall cutting blades and a single temperature, plug-in-the-wall power supply. The power supply has a six foot cord and the tool has a six foot cord, giving you twelve feet of cord total. Works with both the included power supply and our Pro Power Station. Proudly made in the USA! Our Hot Wire tools work best on rigid polystyrene foams, also known as expanded polystyrene (also known as EPS, Styrofoam or bead-board foam) and extruded polystyrene foam (also known as XEPS or XPS or insulation foam). If you are unsure whether or not this tool will cut the foam you intend to cut, please contact us before buying. The Hot Wire tools will cut many kinds of foam, but always check with the foam manufacturer to make sure there are no health or safety hazards when using hot wire tools. NOTE: Polyurethane foam (aka upholstery/camera case foam) should not be cut with hot wire tools. It needs a ton of heat, gives off toxic fumes, and leaves a lot of melted plastic wherever it is cut. We recommend that the polyurethane foams only be cut with a blade or saw.
